To achieve real leaps in efficiency in plant logistics, it is not enough to simply automate the journey from A to B. The entire process must function seamlessly. The entire process must function seamlessly. In our new Feature Focus today, we show how the INDUROS is revolutionizing the material flow by autonomously coupling and uncoupling trailers.

Many conventional driverless transport systems may be able to pull heavy loads, but require human assistance at the start and end points of the route. An employee must manually connect the trailer to the robot or tugger train and disconnect it again at the destination. This interrupts the automation flow, costs valuable time and ties up personnel.

Complete autonomy from start to finish

This is exactly where our outdoor-capable AMR comes into its own. The INDUROS handles the coupling and uncoupling of trailers completely autonomously. It requires no human intervention whatsoever to complete its transport task.

Thanks to state-of-the-art sensor technology and our advanced Physical AI, the robot recognizes the trailer precisely. It navigates to the drawbar with centimeter precision and establishes a secure mechanical connection. It then reliably pulls the heavy load across the company premises, mastering uneven ground and inclines.

Once it arrives at its destination, the INDUROS positions the trailer precisely at the specified location, uncouples itself autonomously and is immediately ready for the next job.

Your advantages at a glance

  • One hundred percent automated material flow without interruptions.
  • Complete independence from manual intervention by employees.
  • No waiting times at the transfer stations.
  • Maximum utilization of the robot thanks to immediate availability after uncoupling.

Experience how the INDUROS takes your intralogistics to the next level and makes manual handling in the transport process completely superfluous.

And of course, the robot's AI also ensures that it can reverse park trailers, thanks to Trailer Reverse AI Pro.
