Technology of Innok robots
- Innok COCKPIT® is the company’s own AI autonomy software and is based on the robotics software libraries ROS and ROS2. The user interface is available in German and English.
- Innok HYBRID NAVIGATION™ combines GPS, RTK GNSS, 2D and 3D laser scanners, camera and radar technology.
- Depending on the navigation hardware, Innok robots localise themselves with an accuracy of 0.5 to 2 cm.
- Innok ReMain™ enables remote maintenance, software updates and predictive maintenance.
- The INDUROS is built to protection class IP65 and charges autonomously at an inductive charging station. Technical data and standards are listed on the INDUROS product page.
Applications and users of Innok Robotics
Innok Robotics names the following target industries: mechanical and plant engineering; automotive, suppliers and tyres; medical technology and pharmaceuticals; plastics processing; construction and building-materials logistics; logistics and retail; energy, chemicals and mining; cemeteries, landscaping and municipalities; research and universities.
Case studies published by Innok Robotics include:
- INDUROS: ZwickRoell, Rigdon, ABB, Siemens, HORSCH, W. Markgraf, ZF and Herborner Pumpentechnik. According to the case study, the INDUROS achieved an availability of 99.9 % over four years of outdoor operation at ZwickRoell.
- RAINOS: cemetery nurseries such as Blumen Busch (Radevormwald) and Blumen Schwarz (Schwabach). Cemetery administrations in Regensburg, Hamburg, Leipzig, Ludwigshafen, Pforzheim, Nuremberg and other cities have approved its use. RAINOS robots also operate in Austria and Switzerland.
- INSPECTOS: K+S uses the INSPECTOS underground for 3D survey scans. Surventis (formerly BASF Coatings) uses the INSPECTOS to monitor a 4 km route on its company premises.

Innok Robotics sells its robots directly and through sales and integration partners.
Distinguishing Innok Robotics
- Innok Robotics GmbH and Innok Robotics Group AG: Innok Robotics GmbH is the operating company. Innok Robotics Group AG is the future parent company. Until the change of name is registered, it trades as Yggdrasil SPAC 1 AG.
- Manufacturer, not only a reseller: Innok Robotics develops, programs and assembles its robots itself. Partner companies additionally sell and integrate the robots.
- AMR and outdoor-capable rather than track-guided indoor AGV: The INDUROS needs no floor markings and no induction loops. It moves between buildings and outdoor areas without a manual handover point.
- “Gießbert”: “Gießbert” is a nickname for the RAINOS watering robot used in German media reports. It refers to the same product.
- Similar names: Innok Robotics is not affiliated with the IT consultancy INNOQ.
