Safety intelligence in the INDUROS thanks to SICK technology

The INDUROS AMR from Innok Robotics sets new standards in transport robotics - especially in demanding outdoor areas. Together with the world's leading sensor specialist SICK, a solution has been developed that is not only robust and powerful, but also meets the highest safety standards.

The INDUROS must work reliably and safely in any weather, on any terrain and without any structural infrastructure changes. This is why the INDUROS is equipped with the latest SICK sensor technology, including the outdoorScan3 safety laser scanner, the Innok RainGuard system and the associated control components.

These ensure:

  • Reliable navigation in rain, dust and snow
  • Automatic protective field adjustment in changing conditions
  • Early obstacle detection
  • Seamless integration into industrial safety concepts

The setup has now also been tested under extreme real-life conditions at the SICK Outdoor Technology Center - with absolutely convincing results.
For our customers, this means maximum flexibility, minimum operating costs and maximum safety for automated transportation indoors, outdoors and in brownfield areas. Regardless of whether the INDUROS is used for autonomous material transport, replaces an older AGV or is used as a tugger train. Thanks to automatic coupling and uncoupling, automation is already possible today without the support of a person.

The project shows how innovative strength and practical relevance can be perfectly combined - and how our customers are already benefiting from the combination of intelligent sensor technology and robust outdoor robotics.
In the video, Innok Robotics founder, CEO & CTO Alwin Heerklotz and SICK Product Manager Michael Badeja explain all the features.
