At this year's LogiMAT, Innok Robotics and SICK AG celebrated a special milestone in their collaboration.

A genuine, mutual partnership has emerged from a long-standing, reliable supplier relationship: SICK, one of the world's leading solution providers for sensor-based applications, is now an official customer of Innok Robotics and is integrating the INDUROS autonomous transport robot into its own intralogistics. The ceremonial handover took place directly at the Innok trade fair stand. Ulrike Kahle Roth, Head of Supply Chain and Fullfilment at SICK, personally received the robot and steered it a few meters through the visitors.

When pioneering spirit meets billion-dollar corporation

The cooperation between the two companies is a special success story. Innok Robotics has always relied on SICK technologies, including the outdoorScan3 laser scanner and the jointly developed RainGuard (Airwiper) and other products, to equip its own robots with the best "senses" for the most demanding outdoor applications.

This development impressively demonstrates that when the innovative strength of an agile pioneer in outdoor-capable robotics meets the expertise of a billion-dollar company like SICK, both sides become even stronger together.

Handover for the future-proof supply chain

With the official handover of the INDUROS transport robot at LogiMAT, both sides are now opening the next exciting chapter. The multi-terrain-capable robot will enrich the processes in the Supply Chain & Fulfillment division at SICK in the future and automate them in a future-proof manner.

"Together, Innok Robotics and SICK are showing how we can solve real problems in production with technically mature solutions and intensive cooperation," says Marcus Ichters, Key Account Mobile Platforms SICK.

Alwin Heerklotz, CEO and founder of Innok Robotics, adds: "With the INDUROS, the separation between internal and external logistics is a thing of the past. We are not only closing a gap in the literal sense, but also presenting a pioneering solution that takes logistics to a whole new level."
