Innok Robotics GmbH Expands Executive Management: Michael Hanselmann Joins as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Ahead of Planned Initial Public Offering
Regenstauf, September 16, 2026 – Innok Robotics GmbH announces the appointment of Michael Hanselmann as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective September 1, 2026. With this appointment, the company completes its executive team ahead of the reverse IPO planned for October 21. The team includes Alwin Heerklotz (CEO, CTO, and founder), Michael Hanselmann (CFO), Nikolas Rössler (CCO), and Christoph Fluhr, who currently serves as Chief Growth Officer (CGO).
Michael Hanselmann has many years of cross-industry leadership experience in finance and corporate management as well as in corporate transformation. Before joining Innok Robotics, he held senior management and finance roles, most recently as Managing Director at Berger Logistik and previously at Hilti and Klüber Lubrication. His extensive expertise in accounting, corporate finance, and capital markets and M&A matters is also based on several years of experience in auditing and consulting at Ernst & Young and KPMG.
In his role as CFO, Michael Hanselmann will be responsible for the departments of Accounting and Controlling, Tax, Treasury, Governance, Risk and Compliance, Investor Relations, Investment Management, and Internal Audit. The immediate operational focus is on the structural and regulatory preparation for the upcoming reverse IPO (R-IPO) and the associated capital increase.
Michael Hanselmann’s appointment also enables a targeted focus within the executive management team. Nikolas Rössler, who had assumed CFO responsibilities in addition to his role as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) over the past 18 months during the company’s dynamic growth phase, will now concentrate on global sales as well as national and international partner management.
“With Michael Hanselmann, we are gaining an experienced CFO, transformation manager, and capital markets and M&A expert for the next phase of Innok Robotics’ development. With an eye toward the upcoming reverse IPO, the planned capital increase, and further international expansion, he will systematically develop the company’s financial, governance, and capital market structures. At the same time, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to Nikolas Rössler for having taken on the CFO role in addition to his role as CCO over the past approximately 18 months,” explains Alwin Heerklotz, CEO of Innok Robotics.
About Innok Robotics
Innok Robotics GmbH, headquartered in Regenstauf/Regensburg, is a technology company specializing in autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) that are suitable for outdoor and brownfield environments. Since 2012, the company has been developing smart automation solutions that primarily automate dangerous, monotonous, or labor-intensive processes. Powered by the company’s proprietary AI software,InnokCockpitTM, Innok’s robots bridge the gap in intralogistics: They navigate seamlessly between indoor and outdoor areas and, as true multi-terrain systems, handle rough asphalt, sudden weather changes, and ramps without requiring any structural modifications to the existing infrastructure (brownfield).
With fast payback periods—often less than two years—and flexible Robots-as-a-Service (RaaS) models, Innok offers the industry an immediate solution to the acute shortage of skilled workers. As the reigning winner of the 17th Innovation World Cup in the Robotics category, global companies such as BASF, ABB, Bosch, SICK, ZF, and Roche now rely on Innok’s robust systems.
