Want to be part of our team? We are looking for...
Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager (m/w/d) (München/Regensburg)
Who we are
Innok Robotics is one of the market and technology leaders in autonomous mobile robots (AMRs). Our robots not only drive indoors, but also outdoors and multi-terrain - even in problematic ground conditions. Snow and rain are also no problem for our AMRs.
We develop and produce advanced AMR solutions primarily for industrial and logistics companies, as well as numerous other sectors. Our customers include renowned companies such as Daimler, Hilti, e.on, Kali+Salz AG and Kubota. We are currently discussing AMR projects with BASF, ZF, BOSCH and Volvo, among others.
In parallel to current successful, extensive venture capital growth financing, we are now looking for new motivated colleagues to expand our experienced sales team in order to further drive our scale-up, specifically our company growth of over 100% per year.

Your role
As CFO, I need someone to independently take over the operational day-to-day financial accounting – and to build a robust, capital-market-ready accounting function together with me: clean processes, a functioning internal control system, and financial statements that withstand every audit and investor due diligence process. You are not just an administrator of existing structures, but a co-creator: You see what is still missing in a growing company and help build it. Along with Innok, your area of responsibility will also grow – prospectively moving toward team building and leading the accounting department.
OPERATIONAL FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING – YOUR DAY-TO-DAY BUSINESS
- Independent management of ongoing financial accounting: accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, fixed asset accounting
- Central point of contact for all invoicing – outgoing invoices, review/approval of incoming invoices, dunning, and receivables management
- Processing payment transactions as well as preparing preliminary VAT returns and statistical reports in cooperation with our tax advisor
CLOSINGS & REPORTING
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB (German GAAP)
- Regular financial reports and variance analyses for management and investors
- Central point of contact for tax advisory and statutory auditing
PROCESSES, SYSTEMS & CAPITAL MARKET READINESS
- Further development and digitalization of our accounting processes and internal controls (ICS) – together with me as CFO
- Establishment of audit-proof, documented procedures as a foundation for statutory audits, investor reporting, and future consolidation
- Purposeful use of ERP and automation tools (Odoo, potentially n8n/Make/Zapier, BI tools) to scale accounting without proportional headcount growth
STRATEGIC COLLABORATION WITH THE CFO
- You keep my back free in day-to-day operational finance and assist me with budget/forecast planning, international expansion, and fundraising
- Participation in cross-departmental optimization projects within the finance function
- Optional during the initial ramp-up phase: occasional support with simple administrative HR topics (e.g. contract documentation) – with a clear outlook of relief as the team expands
What sets you apart
- Completed degree in business administration or economics with a focus on accounting/finance, certified balance sheet accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) qualification, or equivalent
- At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in accounting, ideally in a growing tech company
- Solid knowledge of accounting under HGB as well as VAT-related issues
- Very good Excel skills and confident proficiency with accounting/ERP systems
- Fluent German and very good English skills
- Builder mindset: You do not just want to manage structures, but actively shape them – and grow into greater responsibility alongside the company
- Distinct organizational talent, structured and self-reliant working style even when handling multiple parallel topics and firm deadlines
Beneficial
- Experience with Odoo (alternatively DATEV, SAP, Lexware); proficiency with BI tools (e.g. Power BI)
- Initial experience with IFRS or group accounting
- Experience integrating LLMs and automation tools (e.g. n8n, Make, Zapier) into workflows in a purposeful and data-privacy-compliant manner
What we offer
- Direct reporting line to the CFO and the real opportunity to grow into leading the finance and accounting department as the company expands
- Scope for creative freedom from day 1 – you help build processes instead of merely administering existing ones
- Location in Munich or Regensburg, flexible working hours, partial home office
- 30 vacation days, family friendliness, genuine work-life balance despite scale-up momentum
- Individual continuing education budget (e.g. specialized training, IFRS certification)
- Teamplay, direct communication, team events & corporate sports
