DevOps Engineer Mobile Robots (m/w/d)

Who we are

Innok Robotics is one of the market and technology leaders in autonomous mobile robots (AMRs). Our robots not only drive indoors, but also outdoors and multi-terrain - even in problematic ground conditions. Snow and rain are also no problem for our AMRs. 
We develop and produce advanced AMR solutions primarily for industrial and logistics companies, as well as numerous other sectors. Our customers include renowned companies such as Daimler, Hilti, e.on, Kali+Salz AG and Kubota. We are currently discussing AMR projects with BASF, ZF, BOSCH and Volvo, among others. 
In parallel to current successful, extensive venture capital growth financing, we are now looking for new motivated colleagues to expand our experienced sales team in order to further drive our scale-up, specifically our company growth of over 100% per year.

Your role

• You have solid experience in DevOps, platform engineering or Linux-based development and deployment environments.
• You have practical experience with CI/CD, automation, version control and reproducible build processes.
• You are familiar with containerised environments, ideally with Docker, as well as build and tooling setups for software products.
• You naturally use advanced AI tools and agents to maximise the efficiency of your working time.
• You have already worked on technically challenging software or robotics systems - ideally in the field of AMRs, mobile robots or industrial systems.
• You have experience with ROS/ROS 2 or a strong interest in quickly familiarising yourself with robotics-specific development processes.
• You understand the specific requirements of software that must run not only in the cloud but also on real hardware in the field.
• You work in a structured, independent and solution-oriented manner and enjoy implementing things pragmatically.
• You have a hands-on approach, an agile mindset and enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team.
• You are willing to work primarily on-site at our offices in Regenstauf.
• You have very good written and spoken German and English skills (minimum C1 level in both).

What sets you apart

• You will develop, maintain and improve our CI/CD pipelines for robotics software and related platforms.
• You will automate build, test and release processes for our AMR software - from the development environment through to deployment on actual robots.
• You will be responsible for ensuring stable development workflows for our teams, e.g. for local setups, build environments, toolchains and automated test procedures.
• You will support remote updates, self-tests, as well as rollout and recovery processes for our robot fleet.
• You will work closely with software development, robotics and testing teams to improve quality, release speed and traceability.
• You will maintain and further develop our Linux-based infrastructure, development and integration environments.
• You will continuously improve the security and reliability of our systems - from access and artefacts to deployment and update processes.
• You will bring structure to complex technical processes and help build our robotics platform in a scalable manner.
