Why Autonomous Outdoor Robotics Is Becoming a Necessity — Live and Free on November 3

On November 3, 2026, Innok founder and CEO Alwin Heerklotz will speak at the “Intelligent Robotics” web session hosted by Automationspraxis magazine. His presentation begins at 10:50 a.m. and is titled “Waiting for the Economic Miracle? Why Autonomous Outdoor Robotics Is Becoming a Necessity.”

The focus is on the gap where traditional intralogistics still falls short: the warehouse door. Between production, warehousing, and shipping lie factory roads, ramps, and changing weather conditions. These are areas where conventional automation solutions reach their limits. Using real-world use cases, Alwin Heerklotz will demonstrate how seamless indoor and outdoor transportation works in brownfield settings, what role Physical AI plays in this, and why such projects pay for themselves in a short amount of time.

The entire web session runs from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., takes place entirely online, and is free of charge. In addition to Innok Robotics, industry leaders such as Schunk, Sick, Mitsubishi Electric, and Kuka will present their approaches to intelligent and flexible production. Invited attendees include CEOs, production and manufacturing managers, and technical decision-makers—from those new to automation to experienced robotics professionals.
